Kazinform News Agency announces open position for:

Translator (maternity cover)

English News Editorial Board is looking for an experienced translator to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure translation of Kazinform's web content from Russian into English and vice versa.

Skills required:
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;
Strong time management skills;
Flexible, resilient under pressure with great stamina;
Willingness to work additional hours as necessary.

Minimum qualifications:
Higher degree diploma in translation or in a related field (linguistics, pedagogy);
Proven experience of working as a translator for at least 3 years is a must. Mass media environment is desirable;
Strong IT computer skills (Microsoft Office & Outlook).

This post is fixed-term for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
