ASTANA. September 10. KAZINFORM Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev will meet with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov," an official representative of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Altai Abibullayev told the briefing.

"On September 13-14 Astana will host the next round of the Kazakh-Russian ministerial consultations. It should be noted that on September 12, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will take part in the anniversary session and the fourth meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, and will also meet with President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan," A. Abibullayev explained.

According to him, the parties will discuss the performance of the joint action plan of Kazakhstan and Russia for 2011-2012 and the action plan for cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2012.

In addition, the organizational issues of the IX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, scheduled on September 19,  in Pavlodar will be considered at the meeting.
