ASTANA. August 30. KAZINFORM Gala concert dedicated to the Constitution Day of Kazakhstan was held in the Central Concert Hall "Kazakhstan" in Astana. The concert program was the concluding event of celebrations in the capital.

The evening was opened by the Kurmangazy Kazakh State Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments and symphony orchestra of the Baisseitova National Opera and Ballet Theater.

Honored artists of Kazakhstan Aigul Ulkenbayeva, Maira Mukhamedkyzy, Azamat Zheltyrkozov, Talgat Musabayev, Nurkesh Ashirov and many others performed at the concert.

The program also included Kazakh and Russian folk songs. The audience enjoyed the song "My Town", lyrics by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, music by composer Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov.
