ASTANA. August 6. KAZINFORM Amid unstable situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Kazakhstan highly recommends all citizens of the country to refrain from trips to Syria, said Ilyass Omarov, MFA's Press Secretary.

150 citizens of Kazakhstan are registered by our mission in Damascus, 74 of them have currently left the territory of Syria.

In addition, Kazakhstan's Foreign Affairs Ministry does its best to ensure security of those citizens who stayed in the country.
