ASTANA. August 3. KAZINFORM After Svetlana Podobedova from Kazakhstan won the fourth gold medal in women's weightlifting at the Olympics, Kazakhstan is on the ninth place at the medal standings.

Kazakhstan's team won four gold medals since the beginning of the Olympiad in London.

The leader is China with 20 gold medals, the U.S. team ranks second with 18 Olympic gold medals and the third place is occupied by the Republic of Korea with 8 gold medals.
