ASTANA. July 15. KAZINFORM Crossing a bridge on Saturday a 20 year-old woman let an infant fall into the Asa-Talas rush current channel in Zhambyl region, the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry said.

The infant born in 2012 was carried down by the stream. The body was found in 40 minutes near Koltogan village. The locals pulled out the child's body from the water.
