ASTANA. July 10. KAZINFORM Perspectives of Kazakh-Polish investment cooperation were discussed at the meeting of Kazakh Ambassador to Warsaw Yerik Utembayev and President of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency Slawomir Majman, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

The key and perspective issues of trade and economic, military and technical cooperation with participation of state and private companies of the two countries were discussed during the meeting.

Y. Utembayev informed on favorable conditions for foreign companies to invest in the industrial innovation production on Kazakhstan's territory. The Kazakh Ambassador noted the advantages of the strategic location of Kazakhstan at the transit routes from Europe to Asia and its membership in the Customs Union and Single Economic Space, neighboring by Poland.

Y. Utembayev emphasized the significance of interregional cooperation development and offered to study the opportunity of establishing Kazakh-Polish centers of development and transfer of technologies allowing usage of best innovations and infrastructural decisions.

In turn, the President of the Polish Agency porposed to hold Kazakh-Polish business forum within the Intergovernmental Committee's meeting scheduled on September in Astana. S. Majman is expected to meet for discussion of these issues with authorities of JSC "Kazakhstan Engineering", JSC "KazNext Invest" and the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

According to S. Majman, Kazakhstan and Poland are the leaders in their regions on the volumes of attracted foreign direct investments.

An agreement on joint work on development of Kazakh-Polish institutes on strengthening investment cooperation was reached following the meeting.
