ASTANA. July 5. KAZINFORM The III Kazakhstan Mining and Metallurgical Congress proposed to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to recognize the mining and metallurgical complex as a priority sector of the economy for 2012-2014.

This proposal has been included in the resolution made today on the results of the Congress.

The Congress also urged to focus on the tasks of the state program of forced industrial-innovative development, including support for investment projects and improvement of government support measures.
