ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM The 1^st session of the Council on management of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" was chaired by the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev on Thursday (June 28) in Astana.

The session focused on the Development Strategy of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" until 2022 and basic areas of its activity aimed at the support of domestic economy and improvement of its competitiveness, Kazinform has learnt from the President's press service.

Prime Minister Karim Massimov, Head of the President's Administration Aslan Mussin, CEO of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" Umirzak Shukeyev, CEO of the National Bank Grigory Marchenko, ministers and other stakeholders were in attendance.

CEO of the "Samruk-Kazyna" Fund Umirzak Shukeyev took the floor and reported on the results of the Fund's activity and the Development Strategy until 2022.

Upon results of the session the Head of State approved the Development Strategy of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" until 2022 and gave specific instructions on ensuring its financial stability.
