KAZINFORM The former vice president of Kazakhstan's national nuclear company Kazatomprom Rustem Tursunbayev, who was detained in Canada on charges of financial crimes in his homeland, is under house arrest, the Canadian newspaper National Post reported. Tursunbaev is now under house arrest in his mansion in King City, north of Toronto, the newspaper said. In addition, Tursunbayev is obliged to let in guards or police at any time of day, and submit all the documents that visitors will require.
