KAZINFORM Bodies of five men and three children were found in the waters of Kazakhstan yesterday, press service of the Kazakhstan Emergencies Ministry reports. A 14-year-old teenager drowned while swimming in a lake at 3:15 p.m. on Monday (June 18) in Karasay district of Almaty region. The body was pulled out of the water by a fire crew. The policy took out of the water the body of a 2-year old child who fell into the irrigation canal not far from home by accident the same day but in the city of Taldykorgan. In addition, a 7-year-old kid and a 55-year-old man drowned in the Zhabay River on Monday at 7:59 p.m. in Atbasar town of Akmola region. Their bodies were pulled out of the water by people on the spot six hours later. Four other men, 46, 19, 35 and 50, drowned in Kostanay region, Mangystau region, and North Kazakhstan region respectively. Tags: Incidents , Ministry of Emergencies |
