06 June 2012, 14:22 Turkey keen to be a part of Caspian gas projects BAKU. June 6. KAZINFORM "Turkey is ready to be a reliable partner for Kazakhstan in transportation of the Caspian gas and play a constructive role in new gas projects," Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hasan Murat Mercan said. He made it public during the 19th Caspian Oil & Gas-2012 conference on Wednesday (June 6) in Baku. "Today Turkey plays a big role in providing the world markets with energy resources. It also contributes to implementation of the projects within the East-West and North-South energy corridors, for instance, it participates in the implementation of Nabucco project," Deputy Minister noted. "In this connection, we are keen to be a part of new pipeline projects aimed at safe transportation of the Caspian gas," Hasan Murat Mercan concluded. |
