ASTANA. June 1. KAZINFORM The Bureau of the Majilis held a meeting under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Majilis Nurlan Nigmatulin on Friday, according to the Lower House's press office.

The issues for consideration at a plenary session of the MPs were defined. The draft agenda includes bills "On amendments and additions to the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On transport in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "On Merchant Shipping" and "On ratification of the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment."

In addition, MPs will have to consider the reports of the Government and the Accounts Committee on the implementation of the national budget for 2011.

The draft agenda also includes the bill "On amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of technical regulation and metrology" (second reading).
