ASTANA. April 2. KAZINFORM Today Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed has received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Dr Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis.

The parties debated further strengthening of cooperation between the two states. as stated there, the countries bolstered interstate relations, in particular, the commodity turnover incerasde ninefold in 2011 against 2010.

"On April 2, 20 years ago the countries established diplomatic relations. It is a milestone event. For 20 years the countries have enjoyed good interstate relations. This visit will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Cyprus," Kul-Muhammed said.

The Cyprus' Foreign Minister thanked for a warm reception and expressed Cyprus' readiness and interest in further cooperation with Kazakhstan.
