KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan has a great aim to establish security in the region," the EU expert on security issues Jorg-Dietrich Nakmayer told at the international conference on "Energy Security in the Caspian Sea region" in Almaty. At the conference experts discussed the issues of military, social, political security, and economic conditions in the Caspian Sea region, the Caspian Sea legal status as well as the situation around Iran and possible consequences of the armed conflict for the region security. Kazakh and international experts, political scientists, representatives of diplomatic missions of Germany, Azerbaijan, Iran, USA, China, Turkmenistan and Russia and the EU participated in the cConference, organized by Exclusive analytical magazine and Friedrich Ebert's Fund.
