BAKU. February 28. KAZINFORM /Berik Khamidov/ Kazakh Senate deputy Oralbay Abdykarimov together with Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov held a meeting with Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries Ramil Hasanov in Baku on Tuesday.

The Kazakh side familiarized the TURKPA Secretary General with the main provisions of the Kazakh President's State of the Nation Address. Ramil Hasanov noted that during the period of its development Kazakhstan made significant progress in all areas. He expressed confidence that the objectives set by the President of Kazakhstan on strengthening the economy and improving people's welfare would be achieved.

In addition, the sides discussed current issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and other Turkic states in the parliamentary sphere.
