No Kazakhstanis among victims in Syria and the Maldives - MFA
ASTANA. February 13. KAZINFORM There are no Kazakhstani citizens among the victims in the Maldives. Today official spokesman of the Kazakh MFA Altay Abibullayev has told a briefing.
"According to the information, which we have received from our Embassy in Jordan, which is also the Kazakh Embassy in Syria, there are no citizens of Kazakhstan among the victims in this country. Regarding the situation in the Maldives, we can also note that currently there is a change of political power in the Maldives. The situation remains unstable. According to the information of the consular department of Kazakhstan in India, at present we actively cooperate with representatives of the force and local authorities to provide accurate information on the citizens of Kazakhstan who are probably in the Maldives," the Kazakh MFA's spokesman said.
But, according to preliminary data, there are no citizens of Kazakhstan among the victims in the Maldives.
