Brussels pays tribute to Soviet and Belgian soldiers fallen in WWII
BRUSSELS. May 11. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ In honor of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Brussels laid wreaths to the monuments to the Soviet soldiers fallen for liberation of Belgium and to the Belgian citizens-participants of the Resistance movement.

Kazakh Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belgium and Luxembourg, Head of the Mission to the EU and NATO Yerik Utembayev and military representatives of the Kazakh Ministry of Defense under the NATO headquarters took part in the ceremony.

As Y.Utembayev noted, the diplomatic corps gathered to lay flowers and pay tribute to the Soviet soldiers. The Belgian Government took active part in the event. It highly appraises contribution of the Soviet peoples to the Victory.
