URALSK. May 3. KAZINFORM /Yelzhan Yeraly/ Deputy of the Uralsk Maslikhat Avetik Amirkhanyan handed over anniversary medals to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and workers on the home front.

The meeting with veterans of his district started with handing over medals and the deputy also presented gifts of money to them. Students of school No.16 organized a concert for veterans.

As worker on the home front, first principal of the school Sofya Aukhariyeva noted, the deputy never refuses to help veterans. 20 veterans of war and labor live in the district. Medals and gifts were presented to those veterans who were not able to come to the meeting.
