3.8M quake rocked near Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM 3.8M earthquake occurred in Almaty region on Sep 24.

According to seismologists, the quake rocked at a depth of 0-5km, at 14:54:25 in 154km northwest from Almaty city, in the territory of Kazakhstan. Its energy class made 8.5 and MPV magnitude was 3.8. The coordinates of the epicenter are 43.33° north latitude, 75.01° east longitude. No casualties or damages were reported.
