ASTANA. July 23. KAZINFORM Today Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a meeting with the representatives of the mission of the International Monetary Fund (INF)  headed by Deputy Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department David Owen, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Head of the Government.

Issues of the current economic policy of Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting. The sides shared opinions on the synopsis of development of the global economy for 2009 and nearest future as well.

The IMF representatives appreciated the actions of Kazakhstan's leadership on getting over the recession.

The sides discussed the issues of organization of the activity of the IMF representation in the Central Asian region.
