ASTANA. July 15. KAZINFORM  /Ludmila Malko/ Akim of the East Kazakhstan oblast Berdybek Saparbayev has received a South Korean delegation headed by Professor Hong Kim, Director of the Industrial Educational Foundation for Cooperation of the Hoseo University today. Issues of further cooperation were on agenda of the meeting.

 

The parties focused primarily on three directions - cooperation in red deer breeding, construction of a golf club in Ust Kamenogorsk and establishment of a scientific research venture jointly with the East Kazakhstan State University.

The delegation expressed interest in development of joint projects on complex processing of velvet antlers and production of new medicaments on the basis of nanotechnologies. As is known, 46 kinds of medicaments made of red deer's velvet antlers, Katon-Karagay honey and unique plants are produced at Aksu-Dzen Kazakh-Korean joint in Katon- Karagay dostrict.

According to the Governor, improvement of the technology of production and diversification of the manufactured products should become a priority direction in this sphere.

As for the construction of the golf club, B. Saparbayev approved this initiative and wished the club to be roofed taking into consideration sharp continental climate of the region.
