ASTANA. July 10. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has met with Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the USA William J. Burns in Ukimet Uyi today; Kazinform refers to the PM's press service.

The parties discussed the issues of further development of trade-economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the US.

They also exchanged opinions on the issues of formation of Customs Union between Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus as well as Kazakhstan's joining the WTO.

Mr. Burns confirmed interest of the US in further integration of Kazakhstan's economic system into the world economy.
